1. Chose a country from the books I provide. They contain all the information needed to complete your report.
2. Research and take notes about the country you choose. Here are the items you will research.
- Just the facts (name of country, language, population, etc)
- Show where it is on a world map
- Draw your country's flag, including the symbolism and meaning
- Draw your own map of your country
- Timeline of important events
- VIP (very important person)
- Holidays & celebrations
- Popular sport
- Popular food
- Animals found-Make an Animal Trading Card
- Interesting facts
- Places to visit/popular tourist attractions
3. After the teacher has approved your research, add the information to the poster provided.

4. Poster boards will be provided. Chose one and arrange all of the information on the poster board so it is "attractive".
5. Prepare and practice the oral report you will present to the class.
You may refer to your poster, but do not read it!
